I am 68 years old, and probably look it. But most people are too polite to say so, instead commenting, "I don't
believe it!". I've packed a lot into those years. Went to Junior Year . . olden days speak for mid High School.
Later was a nurse, worked in Red Cross Blood Bank, and was a nun in the convent. I've been married . . .and widowed . . .twice,
have five children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Being a Mother has been the most rewarding time of my
life, but now, I am enjoying retirement and writing.
I like to keep busy, so now I spend a lot of my time with voluntary work. I work as a telephone councellor on a
Crisis Line, am rostered as a Justice of the Peace at my local shopping centre, and work in the thrift shop for Salvation
Army. Since I learned to use a computer three years ago, I spend a lot of time researching various topics for my books.
Surfing the net opened a whole new world for me.So I lead a rather busy but satisfing life, and always try to focus on the
good things in life.

MY CHINA TRIP
FEBRUARY 2005
|
WOW!
My daughter, Bernadette and me on the Great Wall. This was an incredible
feeling to be actually standing here. But it was SO cold, and snowing. I brought home a piece of rock from the original
structure.

4th June 2006 Thought it was time I upgraded this page. Most
exciting thing, Michael and Amanda are having a baby in September. Also high on the list, I am off to visit Paul and
Rose in Thailand on June 19th. Finally found a 'Happy Housesitter' to look after the dogs and cats.
I will add some photos of my trip in my photo album.
July 14th.
Well I have ben home from Thailand
for nearly 2 weeks. It was a wonderful experience, especially to see Paul and Rose again. I found Thailand to be a clean
place, and the people very friendly. I saw Buddahs, temples, palaces, ancient ruins and had a boat trip on the river,
seeing the river homes. I loved everything about it, and it was very hard to say goodbye at the end of the two weeks.
